What Made 2025 Special at Arya

Every month in 2025 brought something new and exciting to Arya at DeBary, reflecting our community’s commitment to purposeful living.

Residents enjoyed outings to cultural destinations, hands-on art classes, and seasonal celebrations that brought families together. These experiences created a sense of belonging and reminded us why community matters—especially for older adults and their loved ones.

Residents kicked off the year with a scenic Halifax River Trip and tapped into their creativity during a Stained-Glass Craft workshop. Cultural experiences like the Asian Lantern Festival outing added color and wonder to winter days, while interactive fun at our Game Show Gathering kept spirits high.

Spring was all about connection—families came together for Family Night, and residents enjoyed the sunshine during Softball Spring Training and other spring activities. Summer turned up the glamour with a lively Prom night, complete with music, dancing, and plenty of smiles.

As fall approached, themed events like Pirate Happy Hour and festive favorites such as Halloween Fun brought laughter and excitement. We closed the year in style with a thrilling Casino Cruise, proving that life at Arya is anything but ordinary.

Looking Ahead: Exciting Events in 2026

The new year at Arya at DeBary is starting strong with a calendar full of activities designed to inspire, entertain, and bring people together. January kicks off with flavorful fun during our Fujiyama Hibachi outing, followed by two creative afternoons exploring nylon sculpture art workshops. Residents will light up the night at the Asian Lantern Festival outing, and movie lovers can settle in for an Avatar marathon paired with a theater trip. Later in the month, we’ll welcome an illusionist variety show that promises plenty of surprises, and families will gather for a festive Lunar New Year-themed night before we wrap up with a scenic North Turn outing.

And February keeps the excitement going with even more opportunities to move, mingle, and celebrate. Residents can enjoy Perfect Dancing with Jessi, cheer on their favorite team at our Super Bowl Tailgate Bash, connect with the local community during a DeBary Library pop-up event, and end the month on a high note with laughter during The Not So Newlyweds live game show. From cultural outings to themed family nights, Arya at DeBary offers something for everyone—whether you’re looking for creativity, entertainment, or simply great company.
